I'm totally loving being on the design team of Sizzix UK, the main reason being the variety of crafts I'm able to try by challenging myself to always come up with something new and interesting with the help of die-cutting machine and the dies. Sizzix being more of a lifestyle blog/website, it not only focuses on just paper crafts but a whole variety of other stuff as well, related to DIY-home decor, fashion, furniture, upholstery, gifting,etc.  And I really, really hope you all are enjoying the work I'm doing for Sizzix. Your valuable feedback on Sizzix blog, my blog, instagram or facebook really gets me going and I feel that the hard work I put into this every week is totally worth it. :)

 Waiting to hear what you guys have to say about this one. I enjoyed making this one because I had this idea in my mind since quite a long time. Happy that the idea found it's expression now. :)

Felt Project Idea | Sizzix Post

Hello, dear friends !

How are you all doing?
My little one has her summer holidays now and I'm at my hometown Nagpur, enjoying some relaxed time with my family. So the posts that you see now and for the next couple of weeks have been scheluded.

This week, I shared a very fun home sewn project on the Sizzix blog. I'm not into stitching at all, in fact this is my first attempt at making a hand stitched craft work (except some needle work I tried in school,but was never good at it :P)

But this one was no rocket science, it was super easy and creative, where I show you how we can stretch our dies.

Funky Flamingo Project Ideas :--

There are some wonderful new releases at Sizzix and one of them is the Funky Flamingo Die. It is already getting a lot of attention from the crafters and quilters all around the world and is very popular now.

There are some free downloadable project ideas featuring this die on the Sizzix UK website, like cards, home decor, fashion, party decoration, etc. I'm sure you would love these DIY ideas.

National Scrapbooking Day | Sizzix News

Hello, friends !

It's first Saturday of May and this day is observed as the National Scrapbooking Day all around the US. So,  if you would like to get some scrapbooking inspiration, there's a quick video up on the Sizzix UK website, showing how to make a holiday scrapbook layout.

Talking about scrapbooking, I'm reminded of a couple of scrapbook layouts that I made as my DT inspiration at Lulupu blog but forgot to share here. So, doing that now :P

The above layout was made for the March challenge which was based on a birthday theme. So, I scrapped a 4th birthday picture of my daughter. :)

Mini Album

Hi Friends!

Earlier this week, I made a mini album as my DT inspiration post for Lulupu, where this month's challenge is to make an album. Some of my blogger friends might have already seen it. You can view the detailed post HERE.

So, I had just shared a sneak peek image of my work on my blog and in today's post, I'm sharing all the pictures of my album made using Papericious patterned papers- Ephemera collection.

Even though I'm more comfortable doing clean and simple projects, it was a different experience and at the same time exciting to try this shabby chic styled mini album. This album measures about 5 by 6 inches in size and it can hold about 10-12 photos. :)

STENCILLING WITH SIZZIX:-

If you have been die-cutting for a while now, I'm sure you must be left with loads of leftover paper and negatives after die-cutting.
