Always

This is the third card I made as my GD post for CraftAdda blog. You can view the first two HERE and HERE

This one’s a clean and simple card that uses multiple sentiments from the ‘Love is in the air’ stamp set from CrafTangles and that die cut heart is from Sizzix Bigz-Heartfelt set. The sentiments on the white card base were stamped using Memento ink-London fog, whereas the one on the black strip was heat embossed in white.

That's all for now. I love to read your comments :) Thanks.

Watercoloured Heart Card

This is the second card I shared on CraftAdda blog as my Guest Designer post this month. To view my first card, please click HERE.

I started by lightly drawing a heart shape along the edge of a 4 by 5 inches Brustro water colour paper, using a pencil. Then I added a water colour wash using Gansai Tambi  in different shades of pink and some red, trying to confine the colours within the pencil drawing. After letting it dry, I stamped the sentiment ‘LOVE’ from ‘Love is in the Air’ set using Versamark Ink. I heat embossed it using silver embossing powder, and stamped ‘always’ in versafine onyx black ink.  I mounted this panel over a standard sized card base and finished off using some sequins and a Baker’s twine.

Watercoloured Sunflower

I'm back with my guest designer post for CraftAdda this month. And Valentine’s Day being just around the corner, I thought of sharing a few love –themed card ideas using a couple of stamp sets by CrafTangles  - one is ‘Love is in the Air’ and another one is ‘Always Yours’.

Both of these stamp sets are sentiment-based, so I simply chose a sentiment and co-odinated them with some free-hand watercoloured images, as shown in the card below:-

Tried some free hand water colouring for the first time. Well, technically this is the second attempt , the first one was a failed attempt at trying to make my sunflower look close to being one ! But it took me a while to paint it and I'm satisfied with this.  I used Gansai Tambi  water colours here. The sentiment ‘you are my sunshine ‘ from ‘Always Yours’ set  goes perfectly well with this image.

I'll be sharing the other two cards in upcoming blog posts. :)

Cards With Stamped Hearts

Sharing two more cards made using using Neat & Tangled stamp set- Jump start my heart. To see the first card I made with this set, please check out this post HERE.

First card :-

 Second card :-

The second card was inspired by a graphic I saw on the Pinterest a while back. It had dots instead of hearts. To make these, stamping was done using Altenew inks. I love these inks, they give very crisp and even image, and the colours look beautiful.

I personally liked the second one more.  What about you ?

Jump Start My Heart

I inked my new stamp set by Neat & Tangled- Jumpstart my heart, which is a gift by my dear crafty pal Pooja. She knows I love making CAS cards and I think his set is perfect for making such cards.
Made a few. Sharing one here. More to follow in my upcoming posts.

The solid heart was stamped over a scratch piece of paper using Altenew Coral Pink ink and this was fussy cut to be popped up over a lightly sponged base. All the stamping done on this card is from the same Neat and tangled stamp set.
Before adhering that heart, I decided to add some gold splatters using viva decor inka god with water. These splatters look shiny which is not evident in the picture.
