Pop and Twist Card

Hello friends!
What are you all upto? As for me, I'm enjoying participating in a few ongoing challenges these days.
Today I'm sharing a very interesting interactive card idea known as Pop and Twist card(scroll right to the end of the post if you wish to watch the little mechanism video of today's card).

Here's the front of the card :-

Pretty clean and simple, isn't it?

Now check out the picture below to see how it pops open :-

A closer view of each of these panels:-

All the images used on this card are from My Favorite Things stamp set- Harvest Mouse. Colouring is done using Zig cleasn color real brush pens. I LOVE how vibrant they are.

To make the interactive element, I followed a beautiful video tutorial here --

I have also added some glossy accents over the apples on the front of the card. Check out the picture below to have a closer look-

Here's a small video showing the mechanism of action -

Or you can also view it on YouTube here :- https://youtu.be/H_vv6OuKTjY

I hope you liked this idea.

  4. Impressive! Love the simplicity. Very well done. Showed my wife who is an avid card maker. She said she tried the two methods of making these cards and neither worked for her. She challenged me to make one a teach her. She told me I couldn't do it. I am of the belief that there isn't anything you you cannot do if you are willing to try. You may not do it well but you can do it.
