Hey everyone!
This month's theme at the Indian Quilling Challenge is to create something with some quillography (or quilled typography) in it . For my DT project, I decided to make a wall decor for my home. Already shared it on the IQCG blog yesterday, sharing it here today:-
. I thought about various words for the typography that I can work upon, and finally zeroed in upon 'home' .I wanted to make something very original, something that truly expresses what I have in my mind.
I have used both 5mm and 3 mm width of quilling strips to make this one.
The frame was inspired from the tutorial shared by Inna on her blog here. Loved her clear and simple explanation.
I did struggle a bit while assembling the frame together, maybe because my scoring was a little inaccurate. Your measurements and the scoring need to be very accurate for a perfect frame. I used some cello tape on the corners to keep them approximated. Hopefully, I'll come up with a perfect frame next time :)
Well, that is my idea ofa dream home, what's yours? Would love to know. :)
Thanks so much for visiting. Have a great weekend!
