ReplyDeleteLOVE the leaves and acorns. These look so fally/wonderful
ReplyDeleteI like the slim line best. That is so quick and easy but pretty and classy.
ReplyDeleteI like the the slimline and agree w/ you that it's good to have the sentiment be the star of the show there. I love that entire set of sentiments, actually. But the card that really made my heart skip a beat was the square one. When I read that you freehand watercolored the background, I was extra-impressed. IDK if I could manage to make the leaves turn out well, much less freehand a bunch of pumpkins. Anyway, I have a ton of patterned paper that I could substitute. Your tag is also beautiful. Love the vellum!

ReplyDeleteI love all 3 of your projects. I love fall & the entire color palette associated with it. Your cards & tag are very beautiful, but I do have a question... When you lay down your watercolor (wash), are you pre-wetting the paper or laying it down on dry watercolor paper? Again, STUNNING & BEAUTIFUL! THANK YOU.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your beautiful comments on my work. About your question, in this case, I have pre-wetted the paper before dropping in the colours using my brush. I love to see the colours blend naturally with this wet-on-wet technique. :)
