Bloghop| Colorado Craft Company meets Kris Lauren| Pop-up Scene Card

 Hello everyone,

Welcome to the February new release blog and instagram hop from Colorado Craft Company. I'm delighted to have been invited to be a part of new product reveal as well as a fun hop. And how can a reveal be complete without a fun giveaway! :) Please read my complete post to know all the details.

If you are a lover of cute, fairy-tale-like images, or if you love creating sweet cards using adorable critter and floral images, you'd love the new line of products released by Colorado Craft Company (3Cs). I made a Pop-up scene window card using KrisLauren~Mouse House 4 x 6 Clear Stamp and co-ordinating Die set. The images are truly heart-melting and so adorable. I stamped the images on Baohong watercolour paper (cold-pressed, 100% cotton) and coloured those using Daniel Smith watercolours. My idea was to use these images to create an interesting card that would make a child happy. I decided to make a pop-up scene card following this tutorial by Jennifer McGuire. If you have been following my work, you may be aware that I hardly make interactive or pop-up cards. Not that I don’t like them; infact, I LOVE  such cards. My 10 yo and 3 yo daughters are huge admirers of such cards. But such cards take time, especially when you have to fussy cut each image. Thanks to the coordinating die set, assembling this card was way quicker and easier than the previously attempted interactive cards.
