The season of festivals has begun in India and when we talk of festivals, we know that gifting is an essential aspect . Money gift envelopes are quite popular here as one of the gifting options for some festivals, weddings or baby showers. Today I’m sharing a few ideas to make and decorate the money gift envelopes with the help of the new dies- Sizzix Thinlits Garden Greens and Sizzix thinlits die set Holiday words:Script.

If we have been crafting for a while, usually there’s no dearth of colourful card paper lying in our stash that we tend to hoard over a period of time. One nice idea to put them to good use is to make some envelopes out of these. I’m sharing a step-by-step process showing you how I made a money gift envelope and embellished it with the help of dies. It's very easy to make and you can easily make it without the use of any special crafting tool like envelope maker. I used MS score board for measuring and scoring, but you can also make it without the score board, just using a simple steel ruler and a pencil.

April Make-off Challenge -

Do you know, there's a make-off challenge at Sizzix every month where two of the design team members showcase their work using a same die-set. There's an open voting system on the Sizzix Facebook page and the one with maximum number of votes is the winner designer of that month. I'm Jasleen, a card maker and a novice watercolourist. I started blogging in August 2013 and it all began after I came across a few quilled greeting cards while surfing the internet, which got me hooked big time to this amazing hobby of card making and quilling.
