Sharing two more cards made using using Neat & Tangled stamp set- Jump start my heart. To see the first card I made with this set, please check out this post HERE. First card :-
Second card :-
The second card was inspired by a graphic I saw on the Pinterest a while back. It had dots instead of hearts. To make these, stamping was done using Altenew inks. I love these inks, they give very crisp and even image, and the colours look beautiful. I personally liked the second one more. What about you ?
I inked my new stamp set by Neat & Tangled- Jumpstart my heart, which is a gift by my dear crafty pal Pooja. She knows I love making CAS cards and I think his set is perfect for making such cards. Made a few. Sharing one here. More to follow in my upcoming posts.
The solid heart was stamped over a scratch piece of paper using Altenew Coral Pink ink and this was fussy cut to be popped up over a lightly sponged base. All the stamping done on this card is from the same Neat and tangled stamp set.
Before adhering that heart, I decided to add some gold splatters using viva decor inka god with water. These splatters look shiny which is not evident in the picture.

6----Patterned papers
Sharing
a few pictures of the card :-
Front view--Closed card
Do you know what's the most interesting part about this kind of card? Well, if you haven't guessed yet, the interesting part s that on pulling out the upper tab, lower one comes out on it's own and on pulling out the right hand side tab, the left one peeks out ;) Same is the case on inserting the tabs back inside. (Scroll right down to check out the video below to get a clear idea)
On pulling out the upper tab
I received this super cute Micia stamp set-Floral invitation and two Washi Tapes in my DT kit. I’ve used those cutie baby images along with the sentiment ‘you are beautiful’from this stamp set. Another stamp set I’ve used is the My Favorite Things-penguins in paradise, for the sentiment’ You make my heart melt’.
The patterned papers are from the Webster pages collection.
On pulling out the right-hand side flap
Those colourful little hearts are made out of some felt fabric from my stash. It’s a love-themed card and I wanted to give it a personal touch. So I designed the left sided flap in such a way that the giver can add a favorite picture of them and write a little handwritten personal note on the tag inside. The lovely washi tape just adds on to the whole design.
Sponged the corner with some distress ink and sprinked some water to get that lovely texture. That bigger heart was cut out from a patterned paper and clear embossed to get that glossy finish.
Card completely opened-up
I like that quote, "Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favorite." Wrote that using my calligraphy pen.
The images in this Micia stamp set-Floral invitation are just perfect to make love-themed cards, cards for kids or even invitation cards. (More on that in my next post)
The pictures cannot explain the actual mechanism of this interactive card, so I’m sharing a very short video so that you get an idea about how it actually works.
I love making cards that have some story to tell. And I've attempted to do the same with this one. I’m quite happy with the way it has turned out. Would love to hear your views .
Looking forward to see what you come up with. Link up your entries HERE.
