Hi All,
It's celebration time at one of my favorite CAS challenge blogs, CASology, as they have reached the 100-weeks milestone and since I have learnt a lot about CAS design here(thanks to the excellent DT ,the 'design defined' feature and also from the talented participants), I want to be a part of their celebration by sharing a card I made today inspired by this week's cue word 'Celebrate'.
Also adding this to Darnell's NBUS#1---Friendship Theme, the stamps I have used here are NBUS and so is this hot pink-coloured card stock.Well, friendships are also a good enough reason to celebrate, isn't it? ;)
This fortnight's Inkspirational challenge theme is CAS cards, so linking it up there too.
My take:
This card shows a gift box made from a double sided PP from Alison Kraft Designs shaped and stuck dimensionally over the white panel, and some stamped stars and the sentiment appear to be leaping out of the box. The technique I have used here is second generation stamping technique, which is best when you have to show some movement.
A tip: Always use the inks with darker shades for second generation stamping. I know it's logical but I initially tried with some soft colours and it didn't turn out good. So, just a small tip.
I would love to know your feedback. Thanks for visiting. :)
